Hi. We have a 2 year old cockatiel (lutino) male (DNA’d). We have been considering getting him a friend. He gets lonely while my daughter is in school all day (she’s 14). He lives in a nice sized cage in her room. He loves her a lot. First of all, do you think we would be able to introduce another bird to him on a permanent basis – would we be able to keep them in the same cage? He goes to the Parrot Hotel for our vacations and seems to really enjoy Stephanie Brown’s other cockatiels. Secondly, do you have any friendly suitable cockatiels for adoption. Sorry for all of the questions, but I believe after reading some of the posts here that you have the experience that I lack figuring this all out!

Good Morning,
I have been looking a for bird for our family. I am a single Mom with my daughter who is eight years old. Also, I am a primary caregiver to my Mom who is terminal. We have a rescue dog whom we love as a family member. I do not want to get a bird from a pet store because I believe that there not only puppy mills but every other mill out there as long as people think they can profit from it. I do believe we are a good family for a bird and we would give alot of love to one. Of course I have done alot of reading and of course i will do alot more if you would grant us the opporuntity to give us one of your precious birds us. Please contact me at your earliest convenience. Thank you very much.
I have filled out the application form. We are interested in either one or two cockatiels if they need to be together. We do not want the bird to feel alone. -
i have 3 cockatiels and my third one needs a mate- male preferrably and not a normal grey. we would prefer a hand tamed one as she is really hand tamed.
whats your adoption fee and do you have any center in toronto or closeby? -
Hi Azeh, the rescue is located in Omemee and all of our cockatiels are in an experienced foster home close by – we’re just over an hour outside of the GTA. Please e-mail me privately and I can provide some more information.
