Hi Vincent,

You are so right about the hahns, they really do need constant work in order to keep them happy, social and confident.

Have you completed the adoption application yet?

The procedure is to fill out the adoption application first. We then do references, home checks and then go from there.

We have a ten year old African Gray rescue. He has been with us for three months. He was a plucker, however all that is behind him. His feathers are growing back wonderfully. He is growing in confidence. And is very happy, growing more lively every day.

We also have a vibrant Quaker. He is two; has been with us from 6 weeks old.

I am 62 years old. My wife and I are around the house most days so the birds get plenty of company.

We both are well read on parrots. Our birds' cages are cleaned once a day. They are fed a variety of nutritious foods including vegetables and fruits.

Should you consider us as good candidates, you are welcome to drop in unexpected to view our birds' living conditions.
