Hi Mary, If you have not yet, can you please fill out the adoption application on the website. This will help me determine what would be a good choice for you. I would not recommend keeping them in the same cage. That can lead to many other problems.

Hi,
We have a 6yr. old female
cockatoo and are concerned that she lonley
while we are at work and school. We’d like to try bringing another bird into our home, seprate cages at first ofcourse, but with the intention of both of them sharing our bird’s very large cage, adventually.
Angel, our bird, came from a pretty crazy and loud home that was under construction, and has taken about a year and a half to become less fearful and angry and has bonded to all of us (my husband, my 15yr. old daughter, and myself). She is very possessive and protective of my daughter however.
Might this bird enjoy the company of ours?

No need for a second application. Hugh does not present any problems with the other birds. He’s been quite a gentleman although a bit nervous. He hasnt been handled in a couple of years.

Hi! I’m interested in Hugh, I’ve filled out the adoption application for another bird, who would be my first choice. Do I require another application for Hugh?

Also, I have 2 other birds and have read that Rosellas don’t neccessarily get along with other birds, do you find that this is the case with Hugh? He would have his own cage, but would be out and about with the others – possibly.
