Joey – Yellow Fronted Amazon
Posted on December 13th, 2009 2 commentsJoey is approximately 15 yrs old or possibly younger Yellow Fronted Amazon. He seems to prefer men. He is an uncommon species in Canada as there are only a few. Joey is going to require some patience and prefereably a male handler. He does usually bond to only one person. So a single male would be the best environment for him. I could not find a wiki article on him to post here.

Lotto – Yellow Shouldered Amazon
Posted on December 13th, 2009 6 commentsLotto Yellow Shouldered Amazon is a rare species of amazon with only a very few in Canada. She was brought here from her native Venezuela when the family moved here. Over time they stopped working with her but she is now stepping up willingly for us. She is 38 yrs old and in good feather and health. Lotto is on hold for now due to a recent surgery related to a vitamin A deficiency. She is doing very well but will be monitored for a little longer before she is placed for adoption.
