Alfie Green-winged Macaw Alfie is 17 years olds, and came to us via another rescue as we have built a good reputation of working with and turning around some of the most difficult cases. He has some major behaviour issues but is coming along nicely. He is very particular as to who he likes to spend time with. When he arrived no one could handle him. So far three of us managed to play with him and give him kisses and snuggle. He has a wonderful singing voice and loves dance. Alfie came to us as a french speaking bird and is now bilingual! Alfie has unpredictable behavior.

Indie Blue Front Amazon Indie is about 10-12 yrs old and we are told he has a bit of a mean streak. We picked him up in Stratford, Ontario and he was a living doll on the way home. We will keep you updated on Indies progress. Indie is still doing very well here. He doesn't like to be picked up except on his own terms but does like the occassional head scratch. Due to his issues in two other homes he will remain here with us.

Oliver Blue Front Amazon Oliver is an 8 yr old Blue Front Amazon who has been with us for some time. Oliver's mother misses him terribly and has asked that he stay with us. He started plucking as she was unable to spend the time with him that he needed. He is progressing very well and will be working as a therapy bird in the nursing home. His mom comes to visit him regularly and Oliver loves the visits and shows off for her. *Update - Oliver has stopped plucking and is now taking great care of his feathers. Way to go Oliver!! Due to the owners request Oliver will remain with us forever.

Spike Blue and Gold Macaw Spike came to us as a baby.Spike has scissor beak and had his scull crushed in an attempt to repair his beak by his breeder. He is doing wonderfully now. However he requires regular beak work to keep it from getting worse. Luckily there was no brain damage. Due to constant medical attention Spike will not be available for adoption.
