Beau – Senegal
Posted on August 14th, 2010 2 commentsBeau is a one year old fully feathered Senegal. He was given up because the owner didn’t realize the kind of work that was involved in keeping a parrot. Beau says “Hi” and gives kisses. He appears to be in good health and is on a good diet.

Spike – Blue & Gold Macaw
Posted on June 27th, 2010 2 commentsSpike is an animated adult Blue and Gold Macaw. His beak and skull were damaged when he was being hand-fed as a baby, so as a result he does have a facial deformity and will require regular beak work – but don’t tell him, he has no idea! He is still able to eat and play like any other Macaw, and he loves baths! Spike is very interactive and speaks clearly. He is fully feathered and in good health. He will be a fantastic pet for someone willing to work with him regularly.

Sunshine and Snow
Posted on June 21st, 2010 6 commentsSunshine (a Sun Conure) and Snow ( a Goffin’s Cockatoo) came from a very devoted family who were devastated to have to surrender them. They are in excellent health and feather and can be handled by just about anyone. They must be adopted together. The only caveat is that both species are known for being quite loud, so they would not be suitable for someone in an apartment.
