Baby – Umbrella Cockatoo

Baby is a friendly Umbrella Cockatoo who is believed to be about eight or nine years old. She is tame and friendly and says a few words. Like many ‘toos, she has some feather damage but nothing too severe.

Spike – Blue & Gold Macaw

Spike is an animated adult Blue and Gold Macaw. His beak and skull were damaged when he was being hand-fed as a baby, so as a result he does have a facial deformity and will require regular beak work – but don’t tell him, he has no idea! He is still able to eat and play like any other Macaw, and he loves baths! Spike is very interactive and speaks clearly. He is fully feathered and in good health. He will be a fantastic pet for someone willing to work with him regularly.

Monkey – Swansea Lory (Rainbow)

Monkey is a 5 yr old rambuctious Lory. Fun and playful and full of beans. Lories do require a special diet and anyone wishing to adopt should have a good understanding of their dietary needs.

Cleo – African Grey Congo

Cleo is a 10 yr old African Grey Congo. She recently started plucking which concerned the owners. They felt they were not giving her enough time. They have asked us to find a new home for her so she gets the attention she deserves.

Ginks – Senegal

Ginks is a 5 yr old Senegal. The owners did not feel they had the time to spend with her due to school and work obligations. She is a nice bird but will need a female handler as she does not like men. She does not attack them but rather fears them and prefers not to interact with men.

Pearl – Goffins Cockatoo

Pearl is a female approximately 6 yr old goffins cockatoo. She has some feather destruction on her wings but we feel this can be over come. She like most goffiins can be quite needy and does require someone who has lots of time to spend with her. She seems to prefer male care givers but is also fine with females. We will be spending more time with Pearl to determine any other problems that my exist with her and help her with any behavioural problems we encounter.

Charlie – Gold Capped Conure

Charlie is a 10 yr old Gold Capped Conure she is a very sweet bird. She is in good feather and health. Seems to get along with anyone willing to pick her up. She would be good for a family but not good for apartment life. As with most conures, they do have a high pitched squawk at times. It is not persistent but can iritate some people.

Canyon – Green Cheek Conure

Canyon is a very sweet 4 year old green cheek conure. He is great with kids and would make an awesome first time parrot for a family. He would also be suited to apartment life.

Dino – Elenora Cockatoo

Dino is a 20 yr old Elenora. Very talkative but a little bit shy. He is missing some feathers on his chest which will not grow back due to follicle damage.

Mia – African grey congo

Mia is a very well adjusted african grey, she is 10 yrs old and quite talkative and friendly. She does prefer women but also goes to my husband and son very easily.
