  • Buddy – African Grey Congo

Buddy is a 6 yr old CAG.  He was much loved by his family but due to allergies, they have had to give him up. Buddy has some feather damage and prefers a male handler. He is an excellent talker and is learning new things all the time. He will require a home with previous large bird experience.

Cleo is a 10 yr old African Grey Congo.  She recently started plucking which concerned the owners.  They felt they were not giving her enough time.  They have asked us to find a new home for her so she gets the attention she deserves.

Kira was dropped at a vet clinic two years ago at the age of two.  She spent another two years at the vets office but recently started plucking.  She is a DNA’d female with a large vocabulary.  She does have a preference for men.  She has been on a Harrison’s diet since her time at the vet clinic.  She has been very friendly and has stepped up willingly for everyone here but will probably bond with a male caregiver more readily than a female.

Crocket is a 4 yr old african grey, friendly, gentle and sweet.  Recently he started plucking due to less interaction but should feather up quickly.  He is a good talker and loves his head scratched.  He steps up for everyone so far.

Grey bird recieved his name as when he was a baby they did not think he would live so never gave him a proper name.  10 yrs later and Grey bird now knows himself as grey bird and says the name.  He is a little nervous but given a little patience he can be a great pet.  He has been stepping up for us here but was cage bound in his home.  Once out of his cage he can be handled easily and allows pets.  He’s a great talker and his feathers are in good shape.
